Zeidler Group Welcomes Jan Fassbender as Director of Swiss Representative Services 

Winterthur, Switzerland, 6 November 2024 – Zeidler Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Fassbender as Director of its Swiss Representative Services. Jan Fassbender will join Josef El Semari in co-leading Zeidler Group’s Swiss operations, steering compliance efforts and enhancing the firm’s strategic presence within the Swiss market. 

In his role, Jan Fassbender will oversee Zeidler Group’s Swiss operations, working closely with our global team to achieve the firm’s long-term goals in the region. His leadership will be instrumental in expanding Zeidler’s commitment to client success through a focus on regulatory adherence and operational excellence. 

As a fully qualified lawyer, Jan Fassbender brings over a decade of legal and compliance expertise, with an impressive track record in navigating complex regulatory frameworks. His experience spans legal and regulatory compliance as well as data protection and corporate governance across the insurance, financial services, and consulting industries. Before joining Zeidler Group, Mr Fassbender held senior roles including as Head of Legal & Compliance for a German Insurtech and as Legal Compliance Counsel at a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Additionally, as Founder and Owner of his own consulting firm, he provided regulatory and legal advice as well as data protection consultancy to clients across Germany solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in compliance management. In addition, Mr Fassbender is also highly experienced in the field of cross-border fund registration as a former Compliance Officer for a Swiss service provider for fund registration and representation.
