Zeidler Group Introduces AI Questionnaire Review to Transform Due Diligence Reviews

New ZDD feature uses AI to review due diligence questionnaire responses, identify potential risks and help teams focus on the areas that require human attention.
London, 19 August 2026 – Zeidler Group, the technology-driven law firm and regulatory compliance services provider, has announced the launch of its new AI Questionnaire Review, an intelligent review feature built directly into the Zeidler Due Diligence (ZDD) platform.
The AI Questionnaire Review is designed to make the review of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) faster, more consistent and more focused. At the click of a button, it analyses responses across an entire questionnaire, identifying missing responses, incomplete answers and potential compliance, regulatory or operational concerns.
Rather than simply checking whether a question has been answered, the AI considers whether the response actually addresses the question, whether it is clear and consistent, and whether the information provided raises an issue that may require further investigation.
Each response receives one of three clear statuses: Satisfactory, Flagged for Review or Unanswered. A short, plain-English explanation sits alongside the assessment, helping reviewers quickly understand why an answer has been flagged.

Importantly, the feature looks beyond whether an answer is complete. A response may appear satisfactory but still reveal a compliance gap, regulatory exposure or operational weakness. The AI Questionnaire Review is designed to identify these issues and explain why they may require further review.
Flagged and unanswered questions are brought together in a dedicated panel, allowing reviewers to see where attention is needed and navigate directly to the relevant response.
The entire process takes place within ZDD, alongside the platform’s existing questionnaire management, counterparty response rating and validation capabilities. There is no separate system to access and no information to export. Reviewers can also re-run the AI Questionnaire Review whenever updated answers or additional documentation are submitted.
“The aim is not to replace the reviewer. It is to make the review process smarter,” added Stich. “The AI can carry out the first pass across a large questionnaire and identify where attention is needed, while the reviewer remains in control of the assessment and any decisions that follow.”
By introducing the AI Questionnaire Review, Zeidler is moving DDQ review towards a more targeted approach, helping teams spend less time manually reading every response and more time investigating the issues that genuinely require their attention.
