Zeidler Legal Services (UK) Limited (“ZLS UK” or “we”) is committed to protecting and respecting your personal data and privacy, as set out in this Privacy & Cookies Notice. This Privacy & Cookies Notice has been drafted in order to comply with UK & European Union data protection and privacy laws (the “Law”).

A reference to “Zeidler” or “we” is a reference to ZLS UK, the data controller in respect of data submitted via the website.

Where we refer in this Privacy & Cookies Notice to another Zeidler company, we are referring to a company or other entity which has a common owner, or is in the same corporate group, as ZLS UK, which currently are the following:

Zeidler Legal Services RAG mbH, Zeidler Legal Services (UK) LTD, Zeidler Legal Process Outsourcing Limited, Zeidler Consultancy Services India PVT LTD, Zeidler Legal Services (Luxembourg) S.A. and Mr. Arne Zeidler doing business as a sole trader in the Republic of Ireland under the business name Zeidler Legal Services.
One or more of these entities may act as a joint controller in respect of your personal data, but Zeidler UK acts as the single point of contact for all information relating to personal data collected via this website and can provide more information upon request.

Personal Data

ZLS UK allows you to submit your personal data via contact forms and e-mail addresses on this website (“Website”) supplied via the Website. The data we collect includes your e-mail address, name and any information you provide to us on the relevant contact form or e-mail.

When you provide your personal data to ZLS UK, we have a legitimate interest in storing and processing your data for each of the following purposes:-

  • Providing you with information in response to your enquiry;
  • Taking steps to enter into a contract with the business which you represent;
  • If you are a job-seeker, for the purpose of considering you for roles with ZLS UK or another Zeidler company;
  • Delivering and improving our services, where you are (or become) a customer of ZLS UK;
  • Providing you with postal and/or electronic marketing materials from time-to-time concerning the services of ZLS UK or another Zeidler company (we will provide relevant ‘unsubscribe’ links so that you may opt out);
  • Provide access and use of the Zeidler Swift service to authorised users and to monitor and improve that service; and
  • Where appropriate for the purposes of your enquiry, providing your data to another Zeidler company.

ZLS UK will be the data controller in respect of any personal data that you submit. If ZLS UK shares your personal data with another Zeidler company then that Zeidler company shall also be a data controller in respect of your personal data, unless that Zeidler company is providing services to ZLS UK, in which case it shall be a data processor. We will store your personal data for these purposes for a period not exceeding one calendar year, except for circumstances in which there is a legal or regulatory requirement or a justifiable business reason to store this data for a longer period.

Data processors

We sometimes use third party service providers to deliver certain IT, technology and similar services to us (for example, the hosting of this website or related services). Where this happens they do so in the capacity of ‘data processor’ on behalf of the relevant Zeidler company, on terms which are compliant with the applicable law, and which restrict their use of your personal data to that which is solely necessary in order for them to deliver services to us.

We will never share your data with a non-Zeidler company for marketing purposes unless you have expressly authorised us to do so.

ZLS UK, Zeidler companies and any data processor whom they use will store your data in the EEA or, where permissible and compliant with EU law, in a suitable non-EEA location. We will keep your data safe and secure in accordance with applicable laws.
